The award

Since 1998, Telecom ParisTech and its alumni association Telecom ParisTech Alumni have been rewarding the players and projects that have made a strong impression on the world of information technology and contributed to its evolution.The award, developed jointly by Telecom ParisTech and Telecom ParisTech Alumni, is a success every year. The award ceremony is known as one of the major events in the sector because it brings together almost 300 key figures and decision makers.

Information Technology in the Digital Age

Telecom ParisTech trains the engineers and managers who rise to the challenges of the new Digital Society. The award highlights the change our society is undergoing and continues to recognise the men and women who are revolutionising our everyday life. The quality of its research represents a major boon for technological innovation in France.

One award ceremony, three extraordinary stories

The Manager Award honours a manager from a company in the digital sector who has managed to develop that company in a remarkable way.
The Connectivity Award is targeted more specifically at a company or innovator that has developed a digital object open to use by the general public. The Innovation Award n the 2014 theme of energy performance rewards a figure who demonstrates an innovation whose impact will colour the future of the Digital Society and which is linked to energy performance.

This year, the Jury is calling for submissions for 2 of the 3 awards :

  • The Connectivity Award
  • The Innovation Award on the theme of energy performance

Who can take part ?


The 2014 call for submissions is aimed at :
  • Companies or their managers or innovators for the Connectivity Award
  • Companies or their managers or innovators in the energy performance sector for the Innovation Award

The 2014 theme for the Innovation Award: energy performance

This theme was chosen by the 2014 jury against a social backdrop that highlights the importance of energy performance for the industrial and economic development of our countries. The digital sector provides promising solutions for the future of energy and the demands of sustainable development.

Two calls for submissions

The call for submissions for the Connectivity Award is targeted more specifically at a company or innovator that has developed a digital object open to use by the general public. (The award is not subject to a specific theme.)
The call for submissions for the Innovation Award on the 2014 theme of energy performance is aimed at a company or innovator that has developed an innovative solution in this field.

Candidates must submit a separate dossier for each award (tick the box for the award selected).
A candidate may only submit one entry in each category.
Only complete submissions will be considered.

Submitting an entry

To enter, candidates are asked to:
  • Submit a presentation on the company and on the innovative solution
  • Indicate which category the submission is competing in (Innovation Award or Connectivity Award)
  • Provide their complete contact details

Deadline

The dossier must be completed online between October 14 and midnight on November 15 2013.
